The PD600 uses 3 filter cartridges on different schedules. The built-in display panel tracks each one and alerts you when replacement is due. Here's the full schedule and what to buy.
| ASR211 — 2-in-1 composite filter (Stage 1) | Every 12 months — sediment + carbon pre-filter |
| ASR212 — RO membrane (Stage 2) | Every 24 months — core filtration stage |
| TAM3 — Alkaline remineralization filter (Stage 3) | Every 12 months — adds minerals, raises pH |
Your annual filter order is just two cartridges: the composite pre-filter and the alkaline filter, both on 12-month schedules. The RO membrane only needs replacing every 2 years and should be ordered separately when due.
| Year 1 (no membrane) | ASR211 + TAM3 = ~$40–$55 |
| Year 2 (with membrane) | ASR211 + TAM3 + ASR212 = ~$90–$120 |
| Average per year over 2-year cycle | ~$65–$88 |
The PD600's front panel displays a percentage for each filter stage — you can see at a glance how much life remains. When a filter drops below 5%, the LED blinks red as a warning. When it hits 0%, the LED stays red and the unit sounds a buzzer. After replacing a filter, reset the counter by pressing and holding the corresponding button on the panel.
The built-in TDS display makes this easy — you don't need a separate meter. Output TDS of 10–30 from typical municipal water indicates the membrane is working well. When it creeps above 50, the membrane may be due for replacement ahead of the 2-year schedule. Hard water areas may reach this threshold sooner.
